It was my birthday yesterday and besides eating a lot, I came to work today and was showered with more food.

Hence, this giant donut from Bob’s on Polk st. It’s legendary and it’s delicious. Not recommended for one person, however if you can finish it yourself, you’re my hero.

Also: they’re open 24 hours. If you need a fix, this is the spot!!!

Food Report, Live from Coachella
Stopped by The Hudson | Clover Juice for lunch today.  Had some fried chicken sliders, jalapeño mac and cheese, and plenty of juice!
Check them out at both of their boothsour booths in the VIP Beer Gardens and Main Stage GA.

Shrimp po’ boy at Mothers. Deliciousness at its best!

I don’t know how people live out here with such great food. But I’d like to try.

Live from New Orleans this week. District Donuts. Amazing.

I’ll be checking this out every day I’m here. I hear tomorrow there will be maple sriracha and the Vietnamese flavor. With the boba. Yes please.

(So far, chocolate blackout is my favorite.)

Roamers is a beautiful place with sweet owners, good food, amazing atmosphere and friendly service. If you can fell in love with a place, it happened when I went for a coffee to Roamers for the first time. I am not sure what was the reason - minimalistic yet cosy interior, that’s been created…

Happy Valentine’s Day. Spend time with the ones you love. In this case, I am spending it with my one true love: food.

More specifically: steak with butter on top. To be extra festive, I added some parsley and shaped it into a heart :)

Waiting 2 hours for brunch at Radish is totally worth it, but I’d rather not have to wait in line for brunch (see this past post for reference). This list gives me hope. Also, I hope they have bottomless mimosas at these spots. No bottomless mimosas, no deal.

Okay, I’m being harsh. As long as there is some kind of alcoholic beverage, that pretty much seals any kind of deal.

Gingerbread cookie chocolate trifle over a month ago from Dandelion Chocolate. I swear, they keep making really good things. I’m sure when someone asks what your last meal on Earth would be that it also includes dessert. My answer now will be tacos, and hopefully this goddamn trifle to finish it off.

I watched The Princess and The Frog tonight. Definitely not what I expected, but I really loved it. I also really loved the part food plays in this movie, and that it takes place in New Orleans. Cartoon beignets look like they taste as great as the real thing! I’ll be in New Orleans in March, and this movie makes me want to fast forward in time like crazy!
